Par Tee Down!

A playable, 9-hole, artist-designed miniature golf course. Curated by Taylor Shaw + Tatiana Veneruso. Coming January 18, 2019 

We are seeking proposals/mockups from artists and design teams to create individual holes in the course, with each hole being its own installation/environment. Budget: $200 per hole. 

Deadline: November 1, 2018

Open Call (2019 exhibitions)

Trio is now seeking proposals from curators, artists & collectives with challenging, progressive or innovative projects and cohesive bodies of work. We are also seeking individual works for consideration in upcoming group exhibitions (TBA). All media is welcome and we are able to accommodate large-scale sculpture, site-specific installations as well as new media & performance art. Proposals are reviewed by our exhibition panel for possible consideration in our programming schedule. Proposals may be retained for a number of years until an appropriate project arises or schedule permits. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us via email at trioathens@gmail.com

Trio Contemporary Art Gallery presents “In These Streets”, a unique exhibition featuring North Georgia street artists. Trio has commissioned 12 artists (or collectives) to each create a new 9ftx12ft mural (on canvas). Nasty Women Athens

This is a group exhibition that serves to demonstrate solidarity among artists who identify with being a Nasty Woman in the face of threats to roll back women’s rights, individual rights, and abortion rights. It also serves as a fundraiser to support organizations defending these rights and to be a platform for organization. Started by Roxanne Jackson and Jessamyn Fiore with the first Nasty Women exhibition in NYC in January 2017, the massive response has taken this call to arms into building an ever-expanding network of Nasty Women Artists & Art Organizers that has culminated in multiple exhibitions world-wide!
